Abstract
A computer simulation has been carried out in order to parametrically analyze and predict the output performance characteristics of a closed-cycle subsonic flow cw CO transverse EDL. The simulation is based on a multi-vibration-level model, a semi 1-dimensional flow model, and a plane parallel cavity model. As a function of parameters such as gas temperature, pressure, flow velocity, discharge current, and cavity conditions, the output power and electrical conversion efficiency of CO EDL have been analyzed.
