  • Chapter
Gastritis

Abstract

Eosinophilic gastritis (EG) is a rare condition (141 cases reported up to 1983 according to Nishikado) characterized by eosinophilic infiltration of the gastric wall associated with hematic eosinophilia and a number of digestive disorders. It is also linked to the possible simultaneous involvement of more segments of the digestive tract.
