Squamous-Cell Epithelioma of the Nail Bed

Abstract

Squamous-cell epithelioma of the nail bed is a rare, locally malignant lesion mainly affecting the fingers, seldom the toes. It is by far the most common of the malignant tumours of the hand (variously assessed at 70%–90%).
