Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung des insulinpflichtigen Diabetes mellitus durch die Transplantation vascularisierten Pankreasgewebes hat in den letzten Jahren großen Fortschritt gemacht. Das Auftreten von Komplikationen, die durch verschiedene Techniken der Implantation bedingt sind, zeigen jedoch, daß noch keine Übereinstimmung über eine standardisierte chirurgische Technik erzielt wurde.
