New Results for Perturbative Calculations of Free-Free Scattering

Abstract

The past decade and one half has seen considerable effort, especially on the part of theorists, devoted to the problem of free-free radiative scattering of electrons [1-18]. Unlike earlier treatments, which were primarily perturbative, work in this period has primarily emphasized nonperturbative approximations. In the present contribution, we return to the limit where perturbation theory is valid, and consider three disparate aspects of the problem.
