Zusammenfassung
Der N. obturatorius geht aus den Lumbaisegmenten L2–L4 hervor. Er zieht durch den M. psoas major und gelangt etwa auf der Höhe des Sakroiliakalgelenks auf die mediale Seite dieses Muskels. Der Nerv verläuft dann bogenförmig an der Seitenwand des kleinen Beckens zum Canalis obturatorius, begleitet von der A. obturatoria. Im kleinen Becken liegt er in enger Nachbarschaft zum Ureter und bei der Frau zum Ovarium. Im Canalis obturatorius teilt er sich in seine beiden Endäste, den R. anterior und R. posterior, ferner gibt er im Kanal einen Ast zum M. obturator externus ab.
