Zusammenfassung

Versuche der Anfallsklassifikation gingen in weitem Ausmaß mit der Kenntnis dieser Störungen parallel, so sehr, daß offen ist, ob die Klassifikation unseren Konzeptionen zugrunde liegt oder aus ihr hervorgegangen ist. Ganz sicher fußen die jüngeren Fortschritte in der Kenntnis von Erblichkeit, Prognose und Therapie von Anfällen auf der Möglichkeit, zwischen ihren verschiedenen Formen genau zu unterscheiden und so Ergebnisse zu objektivieren und zu messen.
