Abstract
A few years ago, HAFTEL et al. [1] discussed the importance of measurements of the tensor polarisation in electron-deuteron scattering — even at low momentum transfer to the deuteron — to learn about important features of the off-shell nucleon-nucleon force. This paper initiated many investigations, both experimentally and theoretically.
