Abstract

With the recent development of gauge theories, a growing interest has been focused on the nature of the neutrino. Since an observation of neutrinoless double beta (0uββ) decay would be practically the only possible evidence for the neutrino to be a Majorana particle, much effort has been devoted to the problem of nuclear ββ decay [1–4].
