Electromagnetic Transitions in Hypernuclei

The interaction of electromagnetic radiation with the nucleus has provided classical nuclear physics with an indispensible tool for illuminating the structure of nuclei. Similarly, for the study of hypernuclei, the observation of γ-ray transitions is essential in the interpretation of hypernuclear level schemes.
