Abstract
A very large number of organic compounds are weakly chemiluminescent, and if a possible mechanism is not apparent by inspection, they are difficult to classify. In this section are gathered a few distinctive compounds. Some of the mechanisms proposed will be familiar, whereas others are less well established.
