Abstract
Retzius (1909) described the cytoplasmic droplet in the spermatozoa of various mammals including primates. The cytoplasmic droplet also forms the conspicuous feature of spermatozoa in the marmoset, chimpanzee, and buffalo (Fig. 17) (Guraya 1965).
