Treatment of Complicated Cases in Pediatric Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Using Fibrin Sealant (Tissucol/Tisseel)

Abstract

Ten patients after cardiovascular and thoracic surgery were treated using two-component fibrin sealant with good effect as the life-saving method. It was possible to reduce the hospitalization period in cases of fistula complications as compared with nonglued defects.
