Zusammenfassung

„Das Hauptziel einer Biographie ist es, ein individuelles Leben nachzuzeichnen, wie es sich über die Jahre hinweg entwickelt“ (Levinson et al. 1978, S.15). Im gleichen Zusammenhang wird hervorgehoben, daß die konkreten Ziele von Biographien verschiedener Natur sein können, je nachdem ob ihre Autoren Romanciers, Fachbuchschriftsteller, Historiker oder Psychologen seien.
