Abstract
Iloprost has been shown to act via the PGI2 platelet receptor as an inhibitor of platelet activation in vitro and in vivo. The compound binds to the human platelet PGI2 receptor with a KD value of 0.6 x 10−7 M, the binding is highly specific and fully reversible.
