Zusammenfassung

Unsere Kenntnisse des Wirkungsmechanismus jener Diuretika, welche auch die renale Kalziumausscheidung beeinflussen, sind derzeit noch sehr begrenzt. Ein vielversprechender Angriffspunkt für das Studium dieser Frage ergibt sich jedoch aus der wohl auffälligsten Eigenschaft dieser Drogen, immer gleichzeitig auf den renalen Transport von Natrium und Kalzium einzuwirken. Ein ausschließlich das Kalziumion betreffendes Diuretikum gibt es nicht. Daraus ergibt sich die Notwendigkeit, die normalen Transportvorgänge für Natrium und Kalzium und die zwischen diesen Transportmodalitäten bestehenden Beziehungen als Ausgangsbasis für Untersuchungen des Wirkungsmechanismus der kalziumaktiven Diuretika zu benutzen.
