Zusammenfassung

Die hervorragende Aufgabe der Nieren ist die Sicherstellung des Gesamtkörperwasserbestands und die Regulierung der Zusammensetzung dieser Flüssigkeit. In einer Statistik aus den Jahren 1973–1980, die 118000 Narkosen untersucht, sind im Gesamtkollektiv 2,1% der Patienten mit Nierenkrankheiten behaftet. Die Zahl erscheint relativ gering, mit zunehmendem Alter steigt sie jedoch deutlich an, bei über 70jährigen Patienten liegt sie bereits bei 5,2% [19].
