Zusammenfassung

Zielsetzungen von Psychotherapie und das Setzen von Zielen innerhalb der Psychotherapie sind in den letzten Jahren wieder stärker in den Brennpunkt des Interesses gerückt (vgl. REITER 1976, TOMAN 1978, LOHMANN 1980, BAUMANN 1981, WITTMANN 1981). Wenn Psychotherapie als ein “geplanter Interaktionsprozeß zwischen Therapeut und Klient… (definiert) ist,… in dessen Verlauf der Therapeut spezifische wissenschaftlich begründete psychotherapeutische Techniken und Vorgehensweisen einsetzt, um den unerwünschten Zustand des Klienten in Richtung auf einen zu bestimmenden Sollzustand zu verändern„ (LOHMANN 1980, S. 15), dann wird die Frage nach den Zielen von Psychotherapie zu einem der wesentlichen Betrachtungsmerkmale von Psychotherapie überhaupt.
