Zusammenfassung

Die biochemische Belastungsreaktion des diabetischen Patienten hängt von folgenden Faktoren ab: metabolischer Ausgangszustand, Nahrungsaufnahme, Art, Zeitpunkt und Ort der Insulininjektion, Intensität und Dauer der Belastung sowie Typ des Diabetes. In diesem Abschnitt soli speziell auf die Verhältnisse beim insulinabhangigen Diabetes mellitus eingegangen werden (IADM), also dem Typ, der beim Jugendlichen i. allg. anzutreffen ist.
