Die Ziele eines integrierten Dokument-Ansatzes werden diskutiert. Eine im Rahmen eines ESPRIT Projekts entwickelte Prototyp-Implementierung wird vorgestellt, die sowohl die Bearbeitung und Verwaltung als auch den Versand von Büro-Dokumenten unterstützt.
