Nebenwirkungen der spinalen Opioidmedikation

Zusammenfassung

Die klinische Anwendung der spinalen Opioidmedikation für postoperative und chronische Schmerzen ist der parenteralen Anwendung derselben Medikamente in ihrer Effektivität meist überlegen, wenn die nozizeptiven Afferenzen über die spinalen Segmente geleitet werden [3, 12, 17, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29, 38, 39, 45]. Mit der Popularität der rückenmarknahen Anästhesiemethoden und der Entdeckung der spinalen Wirksamkeit der Opiate schien plötzlich das Problem der postoperativen Schmerzbehandlung gelöst. Jedoch wurde kurz nach den ersten Berichten über die lange Analgesiedauer der spinal applizierten Opiate über schwere Atemdepressionen berichtet [14, 34].
