Abstract
Although the factors governing the uptake and distribution of inhalation agents are the same in adults and children, the values of some physiological parameters and the pharmacological responses differ qualitatively. Consequently, the pharmacodynamics of inhalation agents must be expected to differ largely between adults and children.
