Use of Isoflurane in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease: Are There Benefits?

In view of the excellent studies performed by Reiz and his group [3–5] it appears difficult to define circumstances under which the patient with coronary artery disease (CAD) might benefit from isoflurane anesthesia.
