Chymopapain Cervical Chemonucleolysis: Preliminary Results in 15 Cases

The aim of the present study was to determine the efficiency and the safety of chemonucleolysis using chymopain injection for treatment of herniated cervical discs. All the 15 patients included complained of a monoradicular cervicobrachial neuralgia. The first injection took place in May 1982.
