Abstract

Chemonucleolysis, the last recourse of conservative treatment for herniated discs, is often compared to surgical treatment; the results and complications of the two treatments are compared, as well as their cost. In this respect, the first studies indicate that the costs of chemonucleolysis is much less than that of surgery [1].
