Abstract

The poor quality of therapeutic results in pancreatic cancer incites us to bring together along with an earlier diagnosis all our knowledge and means in order to determine the best treatment strategies available today. Since a long time, surgery had proven its superiority, to such an extent that it was essentially the only therapy being used at the expense of the other techniques, initially radiation therapy and later on chemotherapy.
