Kurzfassung

Das „Zusammenwachsen“ von Telekommunikations- und Informationsverarbeitung hat zwei Aspekte, die Verwendung von Computertechnik in Telekommunikationssystemen einerseits und die Verknüpfung beider zu Informationssystemen andererseits. Beide Aspekte werden im Vortrag behandelt und anhand einiger Beispiele aus Deutschland erläutert. Dabei liegt das Schwergewicht der Ausführungen auf der Betrachtung der Systemarchitektur.
