Abstract

The staff members of the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology at Klinikum Steglitz, particularly Professor Karlheinz Voigt and Professor Ivar Roots, resolved to take my 65th birthday as an occasion to call the attention of the scientific community to some important, hitherto inadequately regarded aspect of clinical pharmacology which “resembles the flower that blushes unseen.”
