Abstract

The severity of instability due to rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) varies considerably according to the existence and extent of associated posteromedial and posterolaterla lesions. It is very difficult to assess accurately such associated lesions by clinical examination only. For this reason we have tried to improve radiological examination in order to obtain a perfectly objective diagnosis.
