The outcome of the infected knee arthroplasty
Infection of arthroplasty of the knee is a major problem. The incidence of deep infection in the majority of published series is between 2% and 7%. Little is known of the outcome of the various treatments used. This analysis was undertaken to define the natural history and outcome of the infected arthroplasty of the knee.
