Zusammenfassung

Der Hallux valgus ist definiert als eine Abweichung der Großzehe im Grundgelenk nach außen. Neben der Lateralabweichung macht die Großzehe eine Außenrotation um ihre Längsachse durch. Damit gelangt die Dorsalseite der Zehe zunehmend nach innen. Die Extensor-hallucis-longus-Sehne kommt durch die Fehlstellung vermehrt nach außen und kann sich wie die Sehne eines Bogens anspannen.
