Nach Hinweis auf alte hirnelektrische Befunde Bergers (1930, 1931) bei Aufmerksamkeit und Bewußtseinsveränderungen werden langsame Hirnpotentialverschiebungen bei Bewegungsintention (Kornhuber u. Deecke 1965; Libet et al. 1983; Walter 1964), Handlungskontrolle (Grünewald-Zuberbier u. Grünewald 1978; Grünewald-Zuberbier et al. 1978; Jung 1981, 1982), Sprachverarbeitung (Jung 1984; Jung et al. 1984), Schreiben (Jung et al. 1982) Rechnen (Jung et al. 1984), Musikverarbeitung (Altenmüller u. Jung 1984; Jung u. Altenmüller 1984) und Raumaufgaben besprochen. Diese intentionskorrelierten Potentiale werden durch Aufsummierung von 20 – 40 ähnlichen Aufgaben registriert.
