Abstract
Based on information from the working groups, a plenary session was launched to discuss the feasibility and organisational aspects of joint international research cooperation. After a general discussion of possible modes of cooperation and presentation of national projects of possible interest, three proposals for continuing cooperation were put forward. These were discussed in separate parallel sessions by three as hoc working groups. They drafted terms of reference which were discussed and adopted by the pleanry assembly of workshop participants.
