Abstract
The present chapter aims to compare the infarct as observed in the CT scan with the pathoanatomical appearance at autopsy, in an attempt to obtain more information regarding pathogenesis. Our interpretation of the pathogenesis of infarcts is based on almost 25 years of experience with cerebral angiography and clinical morphological observation in such cases (described in detail in the textbooks by KAUTZKY et al. 1982 and by ZÜLCH 1981).
