Chorionic Villi Sampling Using Rigid Forceps Under Ultrasound Control

Abstract

We developed a chorionic villi sampling (CVS) technique using a rigid biopsy forceps introduced transcervically under ultrasound guidance (Fig. 1). Our diagnostic experience started in December 1982, and by October 1984 we had performed 120 diagnoses.
