Abstract

Rarely does a patient experience sudden loss of posture as an isolated event. Recurrence is the rule, and when the patient is seen by the doctor he is ready to indicate the kind of circumstances that favor the attack, or his relatives are able to do so. Diagnosis rests, to a large extent, on careful history taking.
