Abstract

In the past fifty years, social conditions have changed by leaps and bounds. To be sure, human consciousness perceives these changes only to a limited degree. People cling to outmoded ideas and thus retain an antiquated idea of the human race. If you compare the social conditions today with those of earlier times, you are struck by one particular development, which can be described through the following four processes:
