Abstract
In applied family therapy, the positive process means that we look for an encompassing overview of the capabilities of the family members so that we can develop interpretative possibilities for the behavior, symptom, or illness. This reevaluation paves the way for new therapeutic approaches. In terms of methodology, we draw primarily on transcultural-historical and metatheoretical reinterpretations.
First learn, then teach.
