In der Kinderanästhesie besteht seit Jahren die Tendenz, auf die intramuskuläre Prämedikation zu verziehten und alternativ dazu Medikamente zur Prämedikation sowie zur Narkoseeinleitung oral oder rektal zu verabfolgen.
