Zusammenfassung
Im Vergleich zur intravenös applizierten werden bei der intraarteriellen Chemotherapie solider Tumoren und derer Metastasen innerhalb des regionalen Zielgewebes hohe zytotoxische Konzentrationen erzielt. Bis vor kurzem allerdings standen der wiederholten Kanülierung des Zielgefäßes einige technische sowie gleichermaßen medizinische Probleme entgegen, die eine Langzeittherapie einschränkten. Um einen sicheren und dauerhaft verfügbaren Zugang zum arteriellen Zielgewebe herzustellen, wurde deshalb ein neuartiges, vollständig implantierbares Kathetersystem (Implantofix®, B. Braun Melsungen) entwickelt, welches im Detail vorgestellt wird.
