Zusammenfassung

Wir stellen fest, daß die ungünstige Rolle von Traumen als Auslöser der Metastasierung von Melanomen allgemein in der älteren Literatur nur eindrucksmäßig belegt, jedoch nie bewiesen wurde. Die Meinung, daß primäre Melanome nur in Allgemeinanästhesie operiert werden dürfen, kann aufgrund vorliegender neuer, kontrollierter Vergleichsstudien an einem großen Krankengut nicht mehr aufrecht erhalten werden.
