Summary
A mathematical model of the renal system is outlined, including Guyton’s so called basic feedback circuit for longterm circulatory regulation as exceptional case. The developed model is a parametric model. Its structure contains explicitely the biological parameters. The model is studied by simulation. In comparison with results obtained from Guyton’s basic feedback circuit, it can be shown that the developed model matches the real system well, especially in the case of the stationary behaviour of cardiac output in the fixed state of renoprival hypertension. Moreover the renin-angiotensin-aldosteron or the anti-diuretic hormonal mechanism can be implemented into the model, outlined.
