Die Realisierung umfangreicher Softwaresysteme ist zunehmend mit technischen und wirtschaftlichen Risiken verbunden. Gründe hierfür sind die Komplexität der zu lösenden Aufgabe (Funktionsvielfalt, Funktionsverknüpfung), die Unklarheit der Zielvorgaben und Kommunikationsprobleme.
