Zusammenfassung

Die volatilen Narkotika sind keine inerten Stoffe, sondern werden ebenfalls uber die Leber metabolisiert. Die gelegentlich nach Einsatz fluchtiger Narkotika beobachteten Läsionen von Leber und Niere lenken den Verdacht einer toxischen Wirkung auf die während der Biotransformation entstehenden Zwischenprodukte und Metaboliten hin. Das Auftreten unerwünschter Wirkungen auf Leber und Niere ist selten und zeigt groBe interindividuelle Schwankungen. Hierauf haben nicht nur Endmetabolite und Abbauwege, sondern auch die Geschwindigkeit ihrer Bildung einen Einfluß.
