Zusammenfassung

Die abdominelle Feinnadelpunktion zur Diagnostik intraabdomineller Veränderungen wurde durch die Entwicklung der modernen Ultraschallgeräte mit perforierten Schallköpfen wiederbelebt. Es wurden Punktionen unter permanenter Sichtkontrolle möglich, so daß die Methode rasch breite Anwendung fand. Es handelt sich um ein diagnostisches Verfahren zur gezielten Aspirationspunktion mit zytologischer, laborchemischer und bakteriologischer Diagnostik sonographisch erkennbarer Veränderungen. Gangstrukturen in Leber und Pankreas werden zur Röntgenkontrastuntersuchung punktiert. Unter therapeutischen Punktionen versteht man die Entleerung durch Aspiration von Abszessen, Nekrosen und Zysten.
