Abstract
The direct coupling of the ion-selective membrane to the preamplifier results in the peculiar dynamic response characteristics of ion-sensitive field effect transistors (ISFETs), some of which are directly related to transient behavior of conventional ion-selective electrodes. In this paper, these aspects of dynamic behavior of ISFETs will be reviewed.
