Abstract

Of the many possible applications of the dihydropyridines in clinical cardiology, I have chosen to talk only about conditions in which acute cardiac ischemia is present. This the more so since Lichtlen (1984) and Buhler (1984), respectively, will talk about the effects of these compounds on the coronary vasculature and on the peripheral vasculature in hypertension.
