Zusammenfassung

Nach Trauma oder Operation kommt es zu einer hormonellen Umstellung mit Überwiegen der antiinsulinären Hormone — Catecholamine, Glucagon, Cortison — und metabolisch zum Postaggressionssyndrom mit gesteigerter Lipolyse, Proteolyse, Glykogenolyse und Gluconeogenese. Gleichzeitig besteht eine relative Insulinresistenz.
