Thrombolytic Treatment of Peripheral Venous Occlusion. Critical Analysis of Beneflt and Risk

  • Conference paper

Abstract

The given topic is wide, and I feel it necessary to Start with some limitations and definitions. In my lecture thrombolytic treatment will be synonymous to Streptokinase treatment. Although other thrombolytic agents or combinations have been widely used, such as Urokinase; plasmin with or without Streptokinase; Streptokinase plasminogen; acylated Streptokinase; Brinase; and most promising tissue plasminogen activator, the scientificly documented research with Streptokinase in clinical mediane with venous thrombosis is dominating.
