Zusammenfassung
Die sensible Leitungsbahn stellt die Verbindung zwischen den Rezeptoren und den freien Nervenendigungen der Peripherie und dem sensiblen Cortex her. Bei adäquater Reizung entstehen modalitätsspezifische Empfindungen, wobei die sensiblen Cortexareale des Gyrus postcentralis als corticales sensibles Hauptareal eine somatotopische Gliederung aufweisen, bei der aber verschiedene Qualitäten aus denselben Körperarealen im selben Cortexareal repräsentiert werden.
